Baden Powell Skatepark

A destination-scale concrete park in Melbourne's west, completed in 2016, built around an open bowl with ramps, rails and a street section alongside. The open sightlines make it easy to judge where the traffic is before dropping in, which is a genuine advantage for anyone nervous about getting in the way.

One of the newer builds in the western suburbs, so the concrete is in good condition. The street section away from the bowl is the sensible place to start if your transition skills are still coming back.
