Commonwealth Skateboarding combines a core skateshop with an impressive indoor concrete park right in the heart of southeast Portland. The park features a tight concrete bowl, a mini-ramp, and an array of street obstacles including ledges and banks, all protected from the Pacific Northwest rain.
Older skaters should circle Wednesday nights on their calendar for the “30+ Only” session from 8–10 PM. This dedicated window provides a perfect opportunity to skate with peers in a laid-back environment without dodging flying teenagers. A signed waiver is mandatory for all skaters, and free parking is available around the corner on Hawthorne Blvd. Be sure to also check out Cal Skate Portland for gear needs.
