One of the largest free public skateparks in the United States, spread over roughly 60,000 square feet next to the South Platte River in downtown Denver. The scale is the point: bowls, transitions, and a big street section sit far enough apart that beginners can work a quiet corner without holding anyone up, which makes it far less intimidating than its reputation suggests.

The sheer size works in a returning skater’s favour — there is almost always an underused corner to practise in. Weekday mornings are quietest. The street section’s smaller ledges and flat banks are the friendliest starting point; the deeper bowls are best left until your transition confidence is back.
