Desert Breeze Skate Park
Las Vegas, Nevada, US
Terrain & Features
A 20,000-square-foot Clark County poured-concrete skatepark in Las Vegas's Spring Valley open daily from 6am to 11pm with timer-controlled night lighting, shade structures, benches, drinking fountains, and both street and bowl terrain.
Set inside the 119-acre Desert Breeze Park complex at Spring Mountain Road and Durango Drive in Spring Valley, Desert Breeze Skate Park spans 20,000 square feet of poured concrete operated by Clark County Parks & Recreation. For older skaters in the Las Vegas Valley, the park’s 6:00am opening, timer-controlled overhead night lighting until 11:00pm, shade structures, benches, and on-site drinking fountains make it practical to schedule sessions at dawn or after dark to beat Mojave Desert heat, with two regulation roller hockey rinks situated immediately west of the skatepark.
While Clark County describes the overall layout as geared toward intermediate-to-advanced riders with beginner-accessible sections, the 20,000-square-foot footprint gives returning skaters room to warm up on the outer banks, low street ledges, flat rails, and milder transitions before dropping into the deeper concrete bowls and larger street obstacles. Keep county caveats in mind: the park is an unsupervised facility shared by skateboards, inline skates, and BMX bikes (helmets and full pads are strongly recommended), there are no public telephones at the skatepark, glass containers and amplified music are prohibited, and Clark County code requires all visitors to clear the park grounds no later than 11:00pm. For an even larger 65,000-square-foot plaza and bowl complex across the valley, pair your trip with Craig Ranch Skatepark in North Las Vegas.
