Genoveva Chavez Skatepark
Santa Fe, New Mexico, US
Terrain & Features
A 9,000-square-foot Spohn Ranch concrete skatepark at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center in Santa Fe, equipped with night lighting, a street course with an extra-long manual pad, and a three-lobed bowl starting at 4 feet deep.
Set just north of the Genoveva Chavez Community Center on Santa Fe’s south side, Genoveva Chavez Skatepark is a 9,000-square-foot poured-concrete and shotcrete facility designed and built by Spohn Ranch Skateparks. Developed through community design workshops with local riders and equipped with overhead lighting for evening sessions, the park blends Southwest-tinted concrete with a layout explicitly shaped for beginner through advanced progression.
Older skaters warming up have two approachable starting points: the perimeter street course—which pairs an extra-long manual pad combo, bump-to-ledge, and flat rail with a long quarter-pipe and a central Pueblo-style bank—and the 4-foot shallow lobe of the three-pocket bowl. Once your legs feel steady, the bowl steps down across a double waterfall into 5-foot and 7-foot pockets and a middle section featuring an 8-foot slightly over-vert cradle. Keep in mind that Santa Fe sits at 7,000 feet of elevation, where thin air and high-desert sun can tire returning riders quickly; pack plenty of water and aim for morning or lit evening sessions. If you are heading south down I-25 toward Albuquerque, pair your trip with Los Altos Skatepark and stop by Skate City Supply for hardware or repairs.
