A 40,000-square-foot all-concrete municipal skatepark in metro Atlanta divided into three distinct zones—street plaza, flow course, and bowl—with 6:00am openings, automated evening lights until 10:00pm, and a strict ban on bikes and scooters.

Set along the western edge of 40-acre Swift-Cantrell Park northwest of Atlanta, Kennesaw Skatepark offers 40,000 square feet of poured concrete divided into three clearly separated areas: a Street League Skateboarding Foundation Certified Skate Plaza, a central flow course, and a dedicated bowl. For older skaters easing back in, that massive footprint and three-zone layout make it easy to claim a quiet flatground lane or gentle bank in the plaza or flow section without crossing into deep-bowl lines.

Two municipal rules make this park especially accommodating for returning skateboarders: gates open at 6:00am with automated timer lights keeping the concrete lit until 10:00pm, and bikes and scooters are strictly prohibited (only skateboards, inline skates, and wheelchairs are permitted), eliminating unpredictable scooter cross-traffic. Keep in mind that the city occasionally closes the skatepark for full-day clinics or competitions, and while main park parking is free, overflow parking at neighboring Kennesaw Elementary is restricted until after 5:30pm on weekdays.
