LaBonte Skate Park

A Dreamland Skateparks poured-concrete facility inside Laramie's 33-acre LaBonte Park that separates a perimeter street plaza and mellow transition bumps from its deep flow bowl and concrete full-pipe, backed by live municipal webcams and seasonal beginner clinics.

Set inside 33-acre LaBonte Park near the intersection of North 5th Street and East Canby Street, LaBonte Skate Park is a custom poured-concrete facility built by Dreamland Skateparks and operated by the City of Laramie Parks and Recreation Department. While the park is famous across the Mountain West for its mural-painted concrete full-pipe capsule and deep flow bowl, its layout is deliberately zoned so older skaters can warm up around the outer street plaza—equipped with mellow banks, low manual boxes, flat rails, rolling pump bumps, and smaller quarter-pipe transitions—without crossing into high-speed bowl lines. The city also maintains two live public webcams overlooking the slab so you can check crowd levels and surface dryness before leaving home, and partners with Skate Laramie to host seasonal drop-in progression sessions and beginner clinics.

If you are returning to transition, start on the outer banked hips and shallow roll-in pockets during quiet morning windows before University of Wyoming and local youth crowds arrive in the afternoon. Keep in mind that LaBonte Skate Park has no dedicated night floodlighting (limiting sessions to daylight hours), sits at roughly 7,165 feet elevation where dry mountain air and high-plains winds demand extra hydration and pacing, and shares the surrounding park campus with walking paths, picnic shelters, and seasonal restrooms.
