Terrain & Features
A 10,694-square-foot Grindline concrete skatepark operated by the Oxford Park Commission, open daily until 11pm and separating a 6,000-square-foot street course from a 4,000-square-foot bowl.
Located on Bramlett Boulevard directly across from the Oxford-Lafayette Public Library, Oxford Skate Park is a 10,694-square-foot poured-concrete facility built by Grindline Skateparks and maintained by the Oxford Park Commission. Open daily from dawn until 11:00pm with free on-site parking and a covered spectator pavilion for shade breaks, it serves as the anchor public skatepark for north-central Mississippi.
The footprint is cleanly divided into two zones: an approximately 6,000-square-foot street course and an approximately 4,000-square-foot bowl. Older skaters rebuilding their confidence can stay on the street apron—working across the banks, low ledges, flat bar, quarter-pipe, kicker, and central volcano—without crossing into the fast lines of the 7-to-9-foot deep bowl. Keep in mind that this is an unsupervised multi-wheel park shared with scooters and BMX bikes, and the bowl transitions are steep enough that full pads and a helmet are wise before dropping in. If you are exploring northern Mississippi, pair your visit with Tupelo Skatepark an hour east on Highway 278.
