Expansive 29,500 sq ft concrete facility in Ahwatukee featuring mellow pump bumps, low grind ledges, and a strict skateboard-only policy excluding bikes to minimize collision hazards, lit nightly to 10:45pm.

Situated in the Ahwatukee Foothills within Pecos Park, this 29,500-square-foot concrete facility is one of the premier municipal skateparks in Arizona. A crucial advantage for older skaters is the park’s strict skateboard-and-inline rule that prohibits bicycles and motorized scooters, dramatically reducing unpredictable crossing traffic and high-speed collision hazards.

The layout features an expansive, open-concept street plaza loaded with gentle rolling pump bumps, flat ground banks, and wide curb-height ledges alongside a 7-foot transition bowl. Morning sessions between 7am and 9am are the best window for returning skaters, avoiding both peak desert temperatures and crowded afternoon gatherings. Before heading out, stop by Cowtown Skateboards on North Central Avenue for fresh soft wheels, riser pads, or protective gear.
