Scalzi Park Skatepark

A high-quality concrete park built by Grindline. Local shops explicitly run group programs and private lessons here tailored to older skaters.

Built by the renowned Grindline Skateparks, Scalzi Park’s concrete facility is a staple of the Connecticut scene, offering smooth, flowing transitions and a balanced street course. Its layout makes it easy to schedule quiet early-morning sessions.

While it is a public, unstructured park, it is highly supportive of adult beginners thanks to independent local programming. Nearby shops run structured group sessions and one-on-one private lessons on-site that are explicitly designed to get older skaters comfortable on their boards.
