Indiana's largest concrete skatepark, a floodlit 27,000-square-foot Hunger Skateparks facility on the Evansville riverfront open daily from 7am to 11pm with a hybrid flatground roller zone, adaptive street ledges, a flow bowl, and a separated BMX jump line.

Stretching across 27,000 square feet of poured concrete at Sunset Park West along the Ohio Riverfront Greenway between Mickey’s Kingdom Playground and the Sunrise Pump Station, Sunset Skatepark is Indiana’s largest public concrete skatepark. Designed and built by Hunger Skateparks, the facility is open and floodlit daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm, offering older skaters in southwestern Indiana and the Tri-State area expansive morning and night windows with riverfront breezes and adjacent greenway parking.

The layout was purposefully engineered as a zoned all-wheels park so beginners and returning skaters are not forced into high-speed cross-traffic: a dedicated multi-jump line pulls BMX riders onto their own separate run, while a hybrid flatground roller-rink and beginner zone gives older skaters space to practice pushing, kickturns, and low manual pads. From there, you can progress onto long adaptive street ledges, flat bars, mellow banks, and a carving flow bowl before testing the deep pool bowl. Keep in mind that the park welcomes skateboards, quad and inline skates, and BMX bikes alike (electric vehicles are prohibited), and the open riverfront slab has limited midday shade during summer heat, making 7:00am dawn patrols or lit evening sessions under the lights the most comfortable times to ride.
