An 8,500-square-foot Spohn Ranch poured-concrete municipal skatepark in Taylorsville Park open and floodlit daily from 6am to 11pm, featuring custom slappy curbs, a mini-ramp section, street ledges, and a 4-to-6-foot integrated bowl.

Anchoring the south end of newly revitalized Taylorsville Park in the central Salt Lake Valley (with southern parking access at 4743 S. Plymouth View Drive and northern park access at 4721 S. Redwood Road), Taylorsville Skatepark is an 8,500-plus-square-foot poured-concrete facility designed and built by Spohn Ranch Skateparks. Operated by Taylorsville City Parks and Recreation, the park is open daily from 6:00am to 11:00pm under overhead sports lighting, giving older skaters across the Wasatch Front early-morning calm and lit evening sessions after work.

Spohn Ranch designed the footprint as a multi-room concrete plaza that separates low-impact warmup obstacles from deeper transition. Returning skaters can start on the custom slappy curbs, mini-ramp section, quarter-pipe hips, down ledges, flat-to-down rails, and A-frame euro gap before dropping into the integrated concrete bowl, which steps from an approachable 4-foot shallow end to a 6-foot deep end with a 1-foot extension pocket. Note several municipal rules posted on site: the unsupervised park is open to skateboards (34-inch maximum length), inline skates, scooters, and BMX freestyle bikes, full protective gear is recommended, riding is prohibited whenever the concrete is wet, raining, or snowing, and city trespassing ordinances are enforced after 11:00pm. You can easily pair a Salt Lake Valley session here with Fairmont Skatepark in Sugar House or head up Parleys Canyon to Woodward Park City.
