Ninetimes Skateshop

A core skate shop opened in Calgary in 2018 to fill the gap left when the city's once-busy skate retail scene thinned out. Open seven days on 11th Street SW, a few blocks from the beginner section of Cowboys Park, with a full range of decks, hardware, shoes and apparel.

Ninetimes describes its Calgary opening as an attempt to give the city a proper skate shop again after several closed, and it has stuck. Hours are 11am to 7pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm Saturday and 10am to 5pm Sunday. Cowboys Park — Canada’s largest outdoor skatepark, with a genuinely separate beginner area — and South Glenmore Bicycle Pump Track are a short ride away.
