Services
A cornerstone of the Minneapolis skate scene for over 15 years, this core shop is known for its welcoming community and knowledgeable staff who can patiently talk older beginners through their first setup.
Familia Skateshop has been serving the Twin Cities area for over a decade and a half and is widely recognized as a central hub for the local scene. The shop is deeply community-driven and maintains a welcoming atmosphere for skaters of all ages and abilities.
The staff are highly knowledgeable and will gladly walk returning or beginner skaters through building a custom setup without any elitism. They also operate the Familia Headquarters indoor skatepark. For dedicated adult-specific instruction and sessions, it’s also worth visiting 3rd Lair Skatepark in nearby Golden Valley.
