A large poured-concrete municipal skatepark in downtown Lewiston's Kennedy Park open daily from 8am to 9pm, physically separating a spacious street plaza of mellow banks, ledges, and flat rails from its deep pool-coped bowl.

Set near the corner of Park Street and Spruce Street inside historic Kennedy Park in downtown Lewiston, the Kennedy Park Skatepark is the flagship poured-concrete municipal skate facility serving the Lewiston-Auburn metro area. Operated by the City of Lewiston Recreation Department with daily hours from 8:00am to 9:00pm, the park gives older skaters in central Maine calm weekday morning windows alongside a layout that separates low-impact street terrain from serious transition.

Returning riders can warm up across the broad outer street course—which features smooth flatground approaches, mellow bank ramps, low grind ledges, flat bars, hubbas, and smaller quarter-pipe transitions—without crossing into the fast lines of the separate transition spine and deep pool-coped bowl. Keep several City of Lewiston rules and caveats in mind before visiting: the park is an unsupervised facility (“use at your own risk”) shared by skateboards, BMX bikes, inline skates, and scooters, relies on ambient park lighting rather than dedicated high-intensity stadium floodlights after dusk, closes whenever rain, snow, or ice leaves the concrete wet, and enforces a strict municipal curfew prohibiting use between 9:00pm and 8:00am. For other public concrete and indoor ramp options down I-95 and US-1, pair a central Maine session here with Bath Skatepark in Bath or South Portland Skate Park in Greater Portland.
