Terrain & Features
A floodlit poured-concrete municipal skatepark in Pearl City's Breene Harimoto Mānana Community Park open daily from 5am to 10pm, where Honolulu park rules prohibit scooters and motorized devices across separate mini-ramp, bowl, and street zones.
Set inside Breene Harimoto Mānana Community Park along Waimano Home Road in central Oahu’s Pearl City, Mānana Skate Park is a smooth poured-concrete municipal facility operated by the City and County of Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR). For older skaters in the Leeward and Central Oahu corridor, the park combines three major practical advantages: a 5:00am opening time for beating tropical heat, overhead night lighting that stays on until the park’s 10:00pm closure curfew, and Honolulu DPR skatepark rules that prohibit scooters and motorized devices—restricting the concrete to skateboards, four-wheel inline skates, and freestyle BMX bikes.
The multi-zone footprint separates a mellow mini-ramp and spine transition area from a deeper bowl and a street section with banks, flatground, ledges, and rails, letting returning riders dial in basic carving and axle stalls before stepping into faster bowl lines. Keep Honolulu DPR’s operational rules in mind before visiting: the park is an unsupervised high-risk facility (“skate at your own risk”) where helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards are strongly advised, riding is strictly prohibited when passing trade-wind showers leave the concrete wet or during maintenance closures, and trespassing ordinances are enforced during the 10:00pm-to-5:00am park closure window. You can easily pair a Central Oahu session here with Kamiloʻiki Skate Park in East Honolulu or hop islands to Kalama Skate Park on Maui.
